# Publish Probeli articles *to Webflow*

## Set up in *three steps.*

Owners and admins connect the site in Settings › Publishing.

1. ### Connect your collection
   Generate a site API token with CMS read and write access in Site settings › Apps & integrations, then enter it with your blog collection's ID.
2. ### Choose draft or live
   Keep each article as a draft you publish with one click, or publish the autopilot's articles automatically once they pass the quality check.
3. ### Turn on the autopilot
   Plan articles on the calendar. The autopilot writes them and, if you chose it, publishes them to Webflow on their date.

## What gets *sent.*

Probeli matches your collection's fields by their type and slug when you connect.

- ### Name, slug and body
  The article as HTML in your rich text field, with its headings, links, images and FAQ.
- ### Summary
  The article's short summary, when the collection has a summary field.
- ### Meta title and description
  When the collection has fields for them.
- ### Image
  The cover with its alt text, when the collection has an image field.

**Which fields does Probeli fill?**

The item's name and slug, a rich text field for the body (such as post-body or content) and, when they exist, a summary, a meta title, a meta description and an image field. A collection without a rich text field, or with a required field Probeli can't fill, is refused when you connect.

**Does Probeli publish straight away, or as a draft?**

Your choice. By default every article waits in Probeli until an owner or admin clicks Publish to Webflow, which creates a live item. With Publish automatically, the autopilot's articles that pass the quality check go live on their calendar date; articles marked Needs review always wait for you.

**What happens when I edit an article that is already published?**

Update on Webflow updates the same live item: no second item is made. A refreshed article is sent by itself only when you publish automatically and the item still holds what Probeli sent.

**Where does the article's address come from?**

From your site's address, the collection's slug and the item's slug, such as your-site.com/blog/the-article. If your template serves the collection elsewhere, Probeli can't track the page, so it unpublishes the item and tells you.

**Why a site API token?**

Probeli has no Webflow app of its own yet, so it uses a token you generate for your site. The token is stored encrypted and never shown again; delete it in Webflow at any time.

**What happens if I take an article back or disconnect?**

Taking an article back unpublishes its item and keeps it as a draft in your collection; nothing is deleted. Disconnecting makes Probeli forget the token: articles already published stay on your site, and the autopilot goes back to saving drafts.
